FiCo4OMNeT Download

FiCo4OMNeT was developed to be platform independent and can be used on Linux, OS X and Windows. It supports 32 and 64Bit Systems. Please note that we won't continuously test FiCo4OMNeT on all platforms. You can see the current build status on different platforms with the current master branch below. If you experience problems while running on a specific setup, feel free to contribute a patch or open a ticket.


The easiest way to install our simulation models is the CoRE Simulation Model Installer. It is an OMNeT++ Plugin. Install the Plugin in your OMNeT++ IDE:

  • Open your IDE (e.g. OMNeT++/OMNEST) and select: "Help -> Install New Software"
  • Press the Button "Add..."
  • Insert a name for the new repository in "Name", e.g. "CoRE"
  • Insert the URL of our update page in "Location": ""
  • Select your new repository in "Work with...", this will take a while (showing "pending"). Be patient!
  • Select the feature "CoRE Simulation Model Installer" and press "Next"
  • The wizard will guide you through the installation...

After the installation you will find a new Menu option "Help -> Install CoRE Simulation Models...". The wizard will guide you through the installation of our simulation models.

The FiCo4OMNeT model is under continuous development: new parts are added, bugs are corrected, and so on. We cannot assert that the implementation will work fully according to the specifications. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE YOURSELF TO MAKE SURE THAT THE MODELS YOU USE IN YOUR SIMULATIONS WORK CORRECTLY, AND YOU'RE GETTING VALID RESULTS.
